Portrait of Sheri Wilson, smiling

I’m Sheri Wilson, a Bay Area frontend engineer and CPWA-certified accessibility professional.

My passion for accessibility engineering stems from knowing that every technical decision I make affects real people. I care about the details that determine whether an experience will truly work for everyone: semantic structure, keyboard interaction, focus management, screen reader behavior, and reliability across browsers and devices.

Much of my recent work has focused on shifting accessibility earlier in the product process — creating guidance, reviewing designs, documenting reusable patterns, and supporting implementation before issues become production defects.

I’ve also been applying AI to support that shift, helping teams identify accessibility issues earlier and turn guidance into practical implementation support.

When I'm not debugging focus management, I'm writing about accessibility and frontend engineering, working out on my Peloton, practicing Spanish, or planning my next cafe stop in Europe with my husband.
